About Me:

In 2000 my wife suckered me into visiting a local Land Rover dealership (this was back in the day when they had the cool rock garden test hill), “Oh honey, we are just looking!” Out comes the sales guy, Graham, with the khakis and the British accent (hook, line, and sinker). Well, let’s just say I was completely sold after the test ride!

Then, the guys at the dealership (Ed Testa was there at the time) said “Hey, there’s this rover club you should join, SCLR.” Well after the initial Pismo trip, I HAD to start modifying the rig….blew off the front and rear bumpers on that trip, ha-ha! Anyway, I’ve been into Rovers ever since.

I’ve been to more places with the Disco than I ever could have imagined, made lifetime friends, and created some of my best memories out on the trails.

Favorite Trails:

Too many to name, but I’m particularly fond of Death Valley, Eastern Sierras, El Paso’s, Nevada and Utah.

Why I love SCRC:

As stated above, I just love the outdoors and my Disco has allowed me, my family, and my friends to see parts of California that we would have not seen otherwise and create a lifetime of great memories, all while driving one of the coolest offroad rigs around, a Land Rover!
