So Cal Rover Club – SMS Messaging Use Policy

The So Cal Rover Club (SCRC) uses SMS text messaging as a convenient and timely way to communicate with its members. Our primary use of SMS is to send brief updates related to club events, including:

  • Event Reminders: Members may receive reminders about upcoming off-road trips, meetups, or special events they have RSVP’d for.

  • Last-Minute Changes or Cancellations: In case of weather changes, access issues, or other unforeseen circumstances, we will use SMS to quickly notify members of updates or cancellations.

Text messages will only be sent to members who have opted in and provided a valid mobile phone number. Message frequency may vary depending on the number of events scheduled. Standard message and data rates may apply.

We will not use SMS for marketing purposes or share your information with third parties. Members can opt out of text messaging at any time by replying STOP.

For questions about our messaging policy, please contact us at bod@socalroverclub.org
